安石國際總經理Elias Ek將Startup Weekend 帶到台灣！
Startup Weekend Taipei在一陣喧鬧聲中歡喜的落幕了！
安石致力於提昇台灣中小企業創業環境，除了公司本身定期舉辦的活動Entrepreneur Challenge創業接班人競賽（詳情請點我），讓台灣人能夠從不同角度看世界以外，這次也將國際活動Startup Weekend Taipei帶到台灣，與Yushan Venture 共同主辦國際創業活動。
這次的Startup Weekend Taipei 為台灣的創業圈帶來了一個不小的衝擊，首先是跟其他創業活動較不一樣的組隊模式—以點子媒合團隊。
在第一天，所有人都還不認識彼此之時，所有有創業點子的人就上台發表一分鐘的Pitch。這次參加者點子花招百出，從有梗聊天室、真實世界踩地雷到時間交易所等等，讓矽谷與中國來的評審與導師們眼睛一亮！
三天的活動中，Startup Weekend 提供了一個平台讓人們可以媒合組隊、對於Mentor尋求意見，如噗浪創辦人雲惟彬與遠傳Roger Chen一起來與參加者分享自己創業的經驗或業界的一些看法。
活動的最後所有的團隊都必須上台以短短5分鐘報告他們這三天的成果。
參加Startup Weekend Taipei 的評審來頭都不小，有WI Harper的Edward、UMC創投的Ryan、工研院的創投Kevin以及網路創投屆非常有名的Jamie Lin 等。
這次Startup Weekend 的第一名「Food Jing」，諧音「附近」，發現許多人都有無法用菜名找餐廳的困擾，決定發展出一套App，專門為消費者找到自己離自己最近的，想吃的料理。
第二名「Vetter」則是發展出老闆與員工間的平台，使得員工能夠上網提供點子，還能評鑑點子的好壞。
第三名「EZCOOK」則為了料理初學者著想，發展出一套邊看邊作料理的App，使得料理族不用再煩惱！
Elias Ek在活動後發表感言:
「這是我們第一次舉辦Startup Weekend, 但活動的結果卻出乎意料的好！在十個組別中，有四個組別已經決定要繼續他們的案子，與國際上其他Startup Weekend 統計的36%相當，這表示台灣人對創業的熱情與活力完全不遜於國際！雖然這第一次舉辦的活動一些流程部分還有點混亂，但我們在這次學到了一些經驗，相信下一次的Startup Weekend Taipei會更好！下一次的活動（預計在2012年1月）安石也一定會繼續投入，繼續鼓勵中小企業在台發展！」
